Desire Child Care Organization currently serves 33 orphaned and vulnerable children, ages 2-15, all listed below, along with their challenges, their joys, and their desires for the future. scroll down this page and click each photo to meet them and read about their individual stories.

If you would like to sponsor one or more of these precious young individuals for their essential support such as food, housing, bedding, school fees, hygienic supplies, clothes, toys, and medical needs, click the button below to be in touch with us.

Monthly sponsorship is US$50 per child. We understand that times are hard for many people globally. Even with a small sponsorship contribution, if 10 people or more are doing the same amount, it really adds up fast. Why not sponsor as a group? Even kids can get involved as a way to learn about the impact and importance of philanthropy at any age!

Larger Angel Gifts are also welcomed, of course, from sponsors with the means to support our vision at a life-changing level. With your help these past several months, we were able to get the children out of the slums and now 23 are living happily in the countryside. 8 are still studying in Kampala, and are in a safe, beautiful home in a good neighborhood, close to their schools.

Our ultimate desire is to purchase our own land so we may create a holistic, multi-age residential arts-based education and agricultural center that will serve these children at optimal capacity, and bring hope to Uganda's most compromised children for generations to come.
